My stay featured a very polite staff throughout the hotel. they were always attentive to requests. the beds provided comfort with excellent pillows. the location of the hotel offered convenience to various points of interest. i especially admired the tea ritual. It added a distinctive touch.

lovely architecture

The rooms were well appointed, and i found the beds comfortable! the rain shower was a nice touch, and large towels were provided. Breakfast had so much choice. the location was excellent. The hotel is close to many sights.

I thought it odd no coffee creamers were in the room. I had to call the service desk for them each time i wanted coffee! sometimes, they seemed too busy to deliver them.

the bar and restaurant spaces offer amazing designs with nods to the church next door. the staff provided helpful tips on where to go and what routes were safest. it was a charming hotel!

i liked the hotel's location because it was close to most attractions. the premium cloister view with furnished terrace was clean and spacious. i enjoyed sitting on the very large terrace during several evenings sipping wine. i also listened to the sounds of the city!

the breakfast buffet included a wide variety of sliced fruit, meats, cheeses, yogurt, and granola. there were breads, tarts, cakes, and juices available . the hotel offered hot items made to order in a flash, like omelets.

the staff members were very kind and sincerely desired to help guests. they could easily switch between portuguese, english, french, and spanish. the staff willingly communicated with all of the guests. staff offered amazing restaurant recommendations.

the king grand room was spacious and everything was sparkling clean. soft sheets covered a super fluffy duvet. the room had a thick terry robe, slippers, a powerful hair dryer, high-end soaps, lotions, and shampoos.

the hotel is next to rossio plaza, within walking distance to praca do comercio. the hotel also allows easy access to castelo de sao jorge. many great restaurants are nearby, as are cafes for espresso and pasteis de nata.
